About the Book

Vier is a collection of four unsettling stories that explore the quiet places where the ordinary world thins and something else presses through. Each tale follows a different woman standing at the edge of a moment she can’t quite name — a memory she’s avoided, a silence she’s carried too long, a shadow that feels almost familiar.

These stories don’t rely on jump scares or spectacle. Instead, they linger. They whisper. They ask what happens when the past refuses to stay buried, when grief reshapes the living, and when the supernatural becomes a mirror for the things we fear most in ourselves.

Rooted in emotional truth and threaded with the uncanny, Vier invites readers into a world where the eerie and the intimate are never far apart. It’s a quiet, haunting descent — one that stays with you long after the final page.

Author’s Note

Vier grew out of the quiet moments when the world feels thinner than it should be — those pauses where something unspoken seems to press against the edges of ordinary life. I’ve always been drawn to the questions that don’t have answers, the flickers of possibility that make you stop and wonder what might be moving just out of sight.

One of these stories arrived in a dream, sharp and strange enough that it followed me into waking. The others formed slowly, shaped by the small hauntings of everyday experience — the thoughts we push aside, the memories that return on their own, the sense that something is watching from the corner of the room.

I wrote this collection to explore those moments, to give shape to the unseen and the unanswered. My hope is that these stories leave you with a lingering sense of possibility, the kind that stays with you long after the lights are out.
