Welcome to The Study
Some rooms are built for watching the world. This one is built for understanding it.
The Study is the book‑lined heart of my work — the place where history settles, where documents breathe, and where the past waits patiently to be examined. Think of this room as an old university archive or a forgotten corner of an antique library: shelves bowed with primary sources, timelines pinned with care, notebooks filled with questions that lead to deeper questions.
Here, I gather the evidence behind the stories I tell — the records, testimonies, fragments, and threads that shape my understanding of Black history, culture, and memory. This is where the groundwork lives: the research that informs my videos, my commentary, and the stories that grow from the soil of what came before.
If The Observatory is where I watch the unexplained, The Study is where I trace the documented truth.
Settle in. Check out the archives. Linger with the past a little longer — it has more to say than we often allow.
